“ Sartex Training Center opened it’s doors in 2012 via a collaboration with the German
organization Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
Geared towards high school dropouts from rural regions, the curriculum combines
practice and theory and is taught by both experienced factory workers and
international professors. With a capacity of 150 students, the training lasts
nine to twelve months. The resulting diploma, certified by German and French
experts, is recognized throughout Tunisia. However, the majority of graduates
chose to stay in Ksar Hellal and be integrated into the SARTEX’s lines which
is something that makes us proud.”
